My name is Vali Rasooli Sharabiani. I graduated from University of Tabriz, Iran in July, 1999 with a B.Sc. in Agricultural Machinery Engineering. During this time, I trained to promote my practical experience in agriculture and especially I expanded my knowledge about farm machinery and management of field and vehicles. Later that year I started the M.Sc. program in Agricultural Mechanization at the Shahid Chamran University of Ahwaz, Iran; which I completed in March 2001. During of master course degree I was tried to work as a teaching assistant in the department of agricultural machinery and I taught some lessons such as workshop of Agricultural Machinery. And also I worked on my thesis entitled: Evaluating present agricultural mechanization situation and presenting development guidelines for the SARAB County, IRAN. While working on my thesis helped me to be more familiar about the difficulties of agriculture sector specially in the villages and I understood that one of the most important issues is, farmers are not familiar with the principles of correct use of agricultural machines and their management. After that I have been working as a faculty member in the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Ardabil, Iran from Sep. 2001 up to Sep. 2009. I have researched and taught regarding resource management in agriculture, such as agricultural mechanization, for many years as a lecturer in the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili. And I tried to publish some manuscripts in the pear reviewed journals as well as I attended some national and international conferences to collaborate my knowledge with other attendances. However in the next stage, due to my interest in the topic of precision agriculture, I entered to the PhD course (Sep. 2009) and have completed my doctoral course in one of the most prestigious laboratories of Hokkaido University, Japan in Sep. 2013. My achievement from this course has been a deeper familiarity with the concept of precision agriculture, smart agriculture, variable rate technology, the use of various sensors and remote sensing methods in agriculture, as well as the analysis of data (Data Mining) from these methods using multivariate analysis and artificial intelligence. Based on these fields of education and studies, I am interested in continuing to study and research in the field of precision agriculture and non-destructive measurement methods for developing new technologies in plants production and food processing

My research interest is in the field of Precision Agriculture. Nowadays, the increase in the world's population and the need to produce more foods and the reduction of agricultural inputs such as water and soil resources on the other hand, as well as the protection of the environment and increasing productivity, show the necessity of using new agricultural systems. Using precision agriculture and its tools is one of the best answers to the above problems. I have researched and taught resources management in agriculture, such as agricultural mechanization, for many years as a lecturer in the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Ardabil, Iran. However in the next stage, due to my interest in the topic of precision agriculture, I have completed a doctoral course in the one of the most prestigious laboratories of Hokkaido University in Japan.
