دکتر سجاد پیرمحمد، استاد تمام و عضو هیأت علمی گروه مهندسی مکانیک دانشکده فنی دانشگاه محقق اردبیلی هستند. ایشان دوره کارشناسی خود را در رشته مهندسی مکانیک – گرایش حرارت و سیالات – در دانشگاه تهران در سال ۱۳۸۳ به پایان رساندند. سپس در مقطع کارشناسی‌ارشد رشته مهندسی مکانیک با گرایش سازه و بدنه خودرو از دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران در سال ۱۳۸۵ با کسب رتبه نخست فارغ‌التحصیل شدند. ایشان تحصیلات خود را در مقطع دکتری مهندسی مکانیک – گرایش طراحی کاربردی – در دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران ادامه داده و در سال ۱۳۹۱ با درجه ممتاز از رساله دکتری خود دفاع کردند.

زمینه‌های پژوهشی اصلی دکتر پیرمحمد شامل مکانیک شکست مواد مهندسی و مکانیک ضربه است. ایشان تاکنون در اجرای طرح‌های پژوهشی متعدد و انتشار مقالات علمی با پژوهشگران داخلی و بین‌المللی همکاری داشته‌اند و در حوزه آموزش و پژوهش، نقشی مؤثر در تربیت دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی ایفا می‌کنند.
