Farhad Sadegh Mughanlou was born in 1985 in Ardabil, Iran. He got his Bsc in 2007 from the university of Tabriz in the field of mechanical engineering and also got his master's and Ph.D in energy conversion field. After receiving a scholarship from the Iran's Ministry of Science, Dr. Sadegh Moghanlou started working as a academic member in the mechanical engineering department of Mohaghegh Ardabili University in 2014. Before attending the university, he had worked as a Q.C manager, head of R&D unit of several prestigious companies, and now he is also in charge of a technology company.

His researchs are focused in the field of fluid flow and heat transfer in micro and nano scales, and in this regard, he has stablished one of the well-equipped microfluidic laboratories in Iran.
