Samrad Jafarian-Namin is currently an Assistant Professor at University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Iran. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Yazd University, Iran. He has served as a visiting scholar at Amirkabir University of Technology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Alzahra University in 2025, supported by the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF). He also received INSF support for his doctoral research and was recognized as a talented student by the Iran National Elites Foundation (INEF). In 2021, he was ranked first among top student researchers in the Faculty of Engineering at Yazd University.

He serves on the review boards of several academic journals and international conferences. He has published numerous papers in reputable journals and received multiple accolades, including Best Paper Awards at the 6th IEOM Conference in Detroit, USA, and the 7th World Conference on Soft Computing in Baku, Azerbaijan. In addition, Engineering Reports (Wiley) recognized his article as a top-cited paper of 2022.

His research interests include Statistical Process Control, Modeling, Optimization, Decision-Making, Process Capability Analysis, Acceptance Sampling, and Forecasting.
