Taher BaherTalari was born in 1969 in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan. He received his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of Tabriz and his postgraduate studies in civil engineering with a specialization in soil mechanics and foundation engineering from Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran. His master's degree research project was conducted in the field of stabilizing earthen slopes using the regression analysis method.
