Yaghoub Mohammedi received B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from Tabriz University, Iran, in 1987 and a M.Sc. in Compression Creep Measurements in Pultruded Angle Sections Made of Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic from McGill University of Montreal, Canada, in 1992. He received his Ph.D. in Behavior of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete in Flexural Fatigue from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (I.I.T- Roorkee), India, 2000. He works an associated professor in the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili at Civil Engineering Department. From 2001 and 2004 he was the Dean Engineering faculty at university of Mohaghagh Ardabili. Professor Mohammadi expertise is in the area of civil engineering materials and their structural applications. His research is involved with fibre-reinforced concrete composites, fibre-reinforced plastic composites, Recycled Concrete, self-compaction and lightweight concrete with noao-silica technology. His research interests also application of Green Construction Materials, Application of Fiber Reinforced Concrete, Tall Buildings, Dynamics of Structures, Blast loading and progressive collapse.
