Dr. Hamid Heidarzadeh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering–Electronics in 2010 from the University of Tabriz, followed by his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Micro- and Nanoelectronic Devices in 2012, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering–Electronics with a focus on Micro- and Nanoelectronic Devices in 2016, also from the University of Tabriz. Dr. Heidarzadeh’s research interests include electronics with an emphasis on micro- and nanoelectronic devices, plasmonic components, solar cells, biosensors, and other advanced electronic structures. He has been listed among the world’s top two percent of scientists in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. The courses he teaches include Optical Electronics, Quantum Electronics, Advanced Optical Electronics, Semiconductor Devices, Semiconductor Device Simulation, Photonic Integrated Circuits, Electronic Physics, Pulse and Digital Circuits, and Electronics II.
