Dr. Abolfazl Bayrami from Ardabil, Iran is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology, University of Mohagheg Ardabili. He received his B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Urmia, his M.Sc. from Tarbiat Modares University, and his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Mysore, India. His master’s research focused on osmotic regulation in the invasive Ctenophore species of the Caspian Sea, and his doctoral work examined the molecular biosystematics of shrimps from the Arabian Sea. His current teaching and research interests center on Animal sciences, with a particular focus on the nervous system and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
