Amin Babaei was born in 1993 in Shabestar, East Azerbaijan, Iran. He began his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Sahand University of Technology in 2011. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he continued his education at the same university, entering the M.Sc. program in Chemical Engineering – Polymer Engineering in 2015.
In 2017, he was admitted to the Ph.D. program in Chemical Engineering – Polymer at Sahand University of Technology. His master’s and doctoral research projects were carried out under the supervision of Dr. Rezaei, focusing on shape-memory polyurethanes (SMPUs) and their advanced nanocomposites. These research works aimed to enhance the mechanical, thermal, and shape-memory performance of polyurethane systems through the incorporation of various nanofillers and the development of smart polymer structures.
Dr. Babaei’s research interests include polymer synthesis and formulation, design of shape-memory polymer nanocomposites, and electrospinning.
