Vahid Akrami is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili. He received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Urmia University in 2007. He then continued his studies, earning his M.Sc. in Earthquake Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2010 and his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in 2016. His primary research interests lie in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, focusing on the numerical modeling and behavior analysis of structures, structural system identification, and damage detection in structures. Some of the courses he has taught include Statics, Structural Analysis I & II, Principles of Earthquake and Wind Engineering, National Building Codes, Theory of Plates and Shells, and Inelastic Structural Analysis.
