Dr. Ahad Saber is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili. He received his B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics–Optics from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjan, Iran. Dr. Saber’s research interests include classical optics, diffractive optics, optical metrology, and structured light beams. He has supervised several M.Sc. theses and has actively participated in reviewing scientific papers and research projects at national and international levels. His administrative experience includes serving as Head of the Physics Department and as Director of Planning, Continuing, and Virtual Education at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili.

Dr. Ahad Saber’s
research focuses on both theoretical and experimental optics. His experimental
work involves nano-optics, diffraction from phase objects, light scattering, interferometry
(including the Moiré technique), and diffractive optics. He is particularly
interested in the generation and characterization of structured and rotating
beams, as well as the development of optical metrology techniques. On the
theoretical side, his studies include modeling and analysis of diffraction
phenomena, interaction of complex optical fields, and numerical simulations of
structured and vortex beams in various propagation regimes.
