I was born in Meshgin Shahr, Iran, and completed my early education in my hometown before graduating from Talaghani High School in 2002. Initially admitted to both Architecture at Mohaghegh Ardabili University and Physical Education at Kharazmi University of Tehran, I chose the path of sport sciences due to my passion for sports, the dynamic future of the field, and its market potential.
Prior to university, I completed several technical computer courses, which later enabled me to integrate technology into my academic and professional journey. Throughout my bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD studies, I had the privilege of learning from outstanding professors such as Dr. Ehsani, Dr. Kouzehchian (Tarbiat Modares University), Dr. Amiri (University of Tehran), Dr. Mohramzadeh (now a colleague), Dr. Atghia, Dr. Rajabi, Dr. Eghbali, Dr. Khodadad, Dr. Heydar Sadeghi, and Dr. Mozaffari at Kharazmi University.
Alongside my academic career, I have consistently worked to be financially independent, an experience that shaped my resilience and entrepreneurial mindset. Today, as a faculty member in sport management with a focus on Sport and Health Technology, I lead the Sport Technology and Health Research Group and serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Advanced Sport Technology (JAST). I am also the founder of StartFit, a registered brand aiming to integrate innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation in sports and health.
Together with my love, who is also a teacher, we dedicate ourselves to raising children with strong values while continuing our shared commitment to education. Teaching, in my view, is one of the greatest blessings—a way to create opportunities for healthier lives while learning from countless students and colleagues.
My vision is to build international bridges between academia and industry, transforming research in sport technology into practical solutions and startups that improve health, performance, and well-being worldwide.
